LG Optimus G Marshmallow Update by Cm13

Users of Lg Optimus G can now Update their Android to latest marshmallow firmware by installing the newly build Cyanogenmod 13 rom by  xda member ChikaLio. This Rom is unofficial as this is not released by team Cyanogen Mod,So there may be few bugs in the Rom .

So to check out all the bugs and working of the Rom you must refer to this XDA FORUM and in future if you face any problem or rather we should say any bug in the rom,You should post about the bugs in this forum.
This Rom is currently working only on Optimus G e975 & f180 devices.

So lets move forward and discuss about the Process of Installation of Rom into Optimus G.Download links for rom and gapps are given at the end of the post,You can installation them frm there and get you Lg Optimus G Updated to latest Marshmallow android 6.0 by Cm13 Rom.

#Make nanandroid backup of your full data Beforehand

 #Requirements :
1.Your android phone must be rooted ,if your phone is not rooted then root is asap.

2.External sd card should be present to store the cm13 rom and gapps

3.Battery should be more than 80% , if not plug in the charge

4.Latest Twrp recovery  recommended


1.Download the official Cm13 rom and gapps package from the below links to yourLg Optimus G
2.Place the rom in your external sd card.

3.Reboot into twrp recovery only.

4.Clear dalvik cache and cache data of your device. on update by sd card and locate cm13 rom and flash it.

6.Locate the gapps package and flash it too.

7.reboot your device and enjoy marshmallow Update on your LG Optimus G
