How to Create Nandroid Backup of any Android and restore it

This guide will lead you to the process of creating the nandroid backup of your android data , in case you are going to completely wipe up your android device.The nandroid backup is a complete identical image of your  android device which was before you completely wiped up your android device whether it be applications your system settings,your stock firmware etc. 

, In easy word we can say the nandroid backup is everything your phone has,excluding sd card data because the nandroid backup will be itself made on sd card so make sure you have enough space on your sd card.

people usually create a nandroid bckup when they are going to perform a installation of any custom firmware or rom manually,so in case the things gets messed up in the new firmware or the installation is not successfull,you can just make the phone as it was previous.

 #REQUIREMENTS FOR NANDROID BACKUP

ROOTED DEVICE
your android device must be rooted,if you are here interesting in making nandroid backup of your device then you must be aware with the term rooting,How ever if you dont have a rooted android device you can try a method of rooting and move further with the process .

Custom recovery 
your android device must have custom recovery installed .The two custom recoveries present in the android market are Twrp and the CWM recovery
is a simple process and  CWM recovery can be installed with a Rom Manager app  

#HOW TO PERFORM NANDROID BACKUP 

1.Boot into recovery mode,both the CWM OR TWRP recovery has the one touch options inside to boot into recovery mode.

2.Once you are in recovery mode,scroll down to option using your power buttons and select backup and Restore and select backup in the next step

3.Wait for the backup to perform and then transfer the backup to your desktop or in a device where it is safe, you will find the backup in sd card in ‘clockworkmod/backup/timestamp' directory

Done !! Now you have Complete nandroid backup of your Device 

#HOW TO RESTORE NANDROID BACKUP 

1.Transfer the nandroid backup file to your sd card

2.Reboot into recovery mode and now instead of clicking on backup , click on restore and let the nandroid backup to restore completely.

3.reboot and you have successfully restored Nandroid backup.
